    Hello. Here's the situation. I have a 60 second widescreen avi. I want to put a .jpg i made into the top black bar and use it as a dvd menu.

    I figure i can make the black bar useable by reencoding it into fullscreen, i just dont know the best program to do that with.

    Once that's done I have no idea how to attach the .jpg to the video.

    I want the picture to display for the full 60 seconds of the movie.

    I'm not sure I understand what you want to do, but if you're talking about putting a .jpg image above a video and adding a black bar on the bottom to meet fullscreen A/R then it can be done in Avisynth using the StackVertical command. I can't give you much more than that without knowing the full specs of the avi and jpg.
