Hello all!

This is my first post but I've used these forums to finally solve a problem I had with audio sync and Nero. I tried many suggestions but the one that worked for me was encoding the XVID avi's (that have VBR audio) with Avi2Dvd and burning with ImgBurn. I owe you all a huge thank-you for helping me figure this out (albeit indirectly).

I've used this method to burn one file onto a disc, but I'd like to be able to have two per disc. I've read all the guides I could on Avi2Dvd and I'm a little confused... it says that one can encode multiple parts of a movie by labelling them "MOVIE CD1" AND "MOVIE CD2". Does this mean that it has to be the exact same source file cut in two so that Avi2Dvd will merge them? Would this method work with my two separate AVI’s? Reason I’m asking is because, in one of the guides, it says that if you re-label your files this way, all you need to do is load “Movie CD1” and it will automatically load CD2- but when I tried doing this, it only loaded CD1 in the job queue.

If this can’t be done through Avi2Dvd, it seems as though ImgBurn won’t burn more than one file onto the same disc, correct?

Would I then need to add a third step and use DVD Shrink to merge the two files into one?

Also, I just realized something… the source files are 350mg AVI’s that are 45 minutes long (tv episode). It looks like the .ISO Image file that Avi2Dvd creates is 2.47 GB. This would mean that I can’t even fit the two onto a 4.7 GB DVD can I? Am I doing something wrong that the file becomes this large? Or will I have to use DVD shrink regardless?

If anyone has a few minutes to spare, any advice you can offer would be so very much appreciated.
