How to watch ".cd1-mongodlx.r00"

Hi, I just downloaded this particular torrent. When it finished downloading I checked out the file and it was divided into folders, cd1 and cd2, filled with these little 14.3 mb files labelled "(titleofthefilm).cd1-mongodlx.r00" with the numbers at the end going up. I tried to put the folders, one at a time, into vlc, but all that happened was vlc cycled through all the files without actually showing any video, until randomly starting to play a couple of minutes from the middle of the movie. Is the file stuffed, or is there something I can do to watch the movie?

Those are likely .rar files. Buy Crumb instead of downloading 'Crumb DVDRip XviD MONGODLX' Robert Crumb can probably use the money.
