Okay, where do I start........ I am using a combination of programs to burn vcds. I first use smart ripper to decrypt, DVD2AVI for the second step, TMPGENC for the third (takes forever), and nero for burning. My question is when I reach TMPGENC it takes 20hrs to complete!!! This is to combine the .d2v and .mp2 into a avi file. What are the settings that I need??!! Am I doing something wrong? Are there some easier programs to use? Also after the long wait on TMPGENC nero is not letting me burn the movie to a cd. I use the vcd setting and it's telling me I don't have enough room on my cd. How do I get all this to work?

You may have to split the file. Remember a CD can only hold 80 minutes of 700megs.

Yeah, 20 hours can be normal. the higher the quality, the longer the time it takes to encode
