My VCDs wont play! Please help me

Ok i checked out most of the tutorials here. Here i will explain what i did and please tell me if i did anything wrong or what i should do to make them play. Ok First I took my mpeg2 file and coverted it with TMPG. Then i follewed the tutoiral for EasyVCD. My CDRW drive wasnt showing up so i installed those ASPI drivers and restarted. It still didn't show up and they tutorial said that means my CDRW drive is not supported by CDRADO so it said to make the VCD a bin and cue file anyway. I did that and then it told me how to burn the bin and cue file with CDRWIN i did exactly what the site told me. I made sure the cue file was set up properly and everything. I then burned it they way it told me with CDRWIN and the cd will not play in any of my DVD players. The next thing i tryed using was Nero because i heard so many good things about it. Ok so I follow this sites tutorial i open up Nero select VCD then i add the file that i converted TMPG, i had space left so i added a VCD music video i had. I followed all instructions and the hit Write CD. I even let it do you know a trial thing before it actually burned then i let it burn and this cd won't play in any DVD player either. I don't want to keep wasting CDs so i came here for help. Anyoe know what i did wrong? or what should i do? The onyl thing that i could see that might be the problem is that i burned it at my burners highest speed (4x). If anyone has any info on what i could do please respond thank you.

OK for a start did you use CDR or CDRW? Next check your DVD player in the DVD Player section to see what it can play. I think most players can only play CDRW. You should have no problems with NERO. Maybe write at x2.

i used a CDR, thats right, right? I know my DVD player can play VCD. I will try burning at 2x and let you know if it works.

your dvd player can play vcd but cant it play cdr.

i have a samsung 511 dvd player it says on the front that it plays vcd but hardly any cdr would play in it and dvdr would not play in it so i turned 2 screw like components near the laser fine tuned it now the laser reads cdr and dvdr
