Then MUCH more info is required. Are you getting an error message from your DVD player?
Run one of the large VOB files from the bad DVDs through GSpot and post the video/audio specs here.

Doesn't your dvd player support avi divx/xvid? Then just burn the avi files on a cdr or dvdr.

If not then try another dvd converter like avstodvd or freemake video converter. If they also fail try another dvdr media brand.

  8. If those are actually the requested specs of a VOB file then something is seriously wrong.

As for the problem, given the absolute TREMENDOUS AMOUNT of information you have provided, I can definitively state that the problem is one of three things : 1. The original source is somehow F'd up. 2. The program is somehow F'd up. 3. YOU somehow F'd up.

Narrowing that down will require more info, such as file types, parameters used in conversion program, specs on source, specs on VOB's (already requested, see #3 above), type of blanks used, pretty much all the info you left out of your first post.

Did you try checking the log file from DVDFlick, or perhaps standing on a street corner and asking random passers-by?

How about what EXACTLY happens with a disk that "won't play". Does it take its toys and run home, does the player say "no disk", playback stutters or is garbled, the disk won't fit in the tray, anything? Have you tried playing it on a computer? Have you tried spinning it on your finger and staring at it REALLY HARD?

Obviously that's not true if you then say this:

That wasn't run through DVDFlick and it's not a DVD. It doesn't contain DVD video or audio. Maybe if you made DVDs like you claimed earlier, you'd be able to play them in your DVD player.
