DVD Menu Studio is for creating the menu layout and graphics. It does not author DVDs. If you save your work as a project file (.mnu ?), then you can import it into DVD Lab (Studio/Pro). This is the logical partner for DVD Menu Studio as they are written by the same guy/company. I don't know of any other authoring tool that reads them.
Personally, I use photoshop to do this instead.Read my blog here.

OK .. I figured I'd use DVD Lab pro instead ( for the menu too) .. but tell me.. DVD Lab pro accepts only VOB files???
EDIT: I'll use the vobs and subs which VSO CovertXtoDVD provided into DVD Lab -
No. DVD Lab Pro takes DVD compliant files. It won't convert AVI files etc into DVD compliant files for you. If you choose to use VOBs, I suggest you let DVD Lab Pro demux them when it asks.
