    Can i adjust the volume on the dvd somehow?

    Yes, but it requires ~6 hours work......I haven't seen any all-in-one tool that doesn't reencode everything.

    Demux the dvd to video and audio streams using for example rejig or pgcdemux.
    Then open the audio files in a audio editor like goldwave. Boost the volume. Save as WAV and convert to ac3,mpa with ffmpeggui.
    Reauthor the old video streams with new audio files using an dvd authoring tool like tda.

    same steps but add some noise filters in the audio editor.

    how come when i make music cds if i adjust the volume on the pc it will make a difference in the car. same with the bass and treble settings.?

    will this happen if i reburn the dvd?
