    Hi,

I've converted a DVD to DivX using FairUse Wizard, but the audio volume is too low.
Is there a way to adjust the volume while or after conversion?

    Thanks

    Marco

I've also read that AC3 Filter could be used while encoding, is it right?
Which settings should I change before conversion?

    Thanks

By default FairUse uses azid for the AC3 decoding. No way to use AC3Filter, although from recollection it can use BeSweet. What audio format were you using? Because it also runs mp3gain (mp3) vorbisgain (vorbis) and aacgain (aac in my build only).

I've tried both MP3 (at 192 Kb/s) and AC3, but the results are the same: volume too low.

May be I'm able to raise the volume during playback with AC3 Filter, but I'd prefer a better way to encode in the audio stream of the DivX movie.

Ok, it doesn't run mp3gain and the azid settings are somewhat fixed. Is this a common problem for people? If so anyone got any azid settings that they recommend? From recollection when I tested I didn't have a problem.

Run the output AVI through one of the AVI_GAIN scripts. That'll be very easy.
