  1. Hello all. I was wondering if there is anyway to trim the intro of a video file in DVD Lab. I know that you can trim the end, but I dont see an option for the intro. Thanks

  2. Have you tried using pro extensions from tools menu?
    You can open your video, click edit tab. Then go to the I-frame you want your movie to start at and click "mark start", then go to the I-frame you want to end at and click "mark end". Then save, hopefully you have more success than me because when I saved it crashed.

    Sorry, the link only went to the main index. Click on editing in section labelled movie. Best of luck. Here:

  6. The Skip feature only disables parts of the video file, I want to remove it to reduce file size. The cutting tool in TMPGenc doesn't work so well for me, so any other options? Thx

    Did you try TMPGEnc DVDAuthor trim tool? It's only gop accurate (about half-second) but has free trial. Otherwise use an editing tool. Look here;

    I use TMPGEnc MPEG Editor with good results. I've heard good things about MPEG-VCR. One of these is worth the purchase if you plan to do lots of editing. Good luck.

  9. One more question. Why do I end up with a bigger file(1500MB) after cutting, than I before(880mb)? THx

  10. Have you tried Cuttermaran, Mpg2Cut2, and Mpeg2Schnitt? They are all free so it wouldn't hurt to try with these.
