    Is there any way, I can convert the EXE file on my Computer/CD/DVD to the DVD format, so it can be played on normal DVD player ???
    Nope, I'm NOT God, but I'm British (which is the next best thing ;) !!!

    you could use a screen capture utility like snagit.

    the exe could be any video format with a builtin player.

    I can make exe on Macromedia OR Director software. So is there any way, I could play such files i.e. what I save on these software onto a normal DVD to be played on DVD player ???

    Fundamentally, DVD Players require either MPEG-1 or MPEG-2, encoded and authored to DVD Specs to be able to be played on a settop DVD player. Some players can play raw (unauthored) MPEG-1/2, and/or DivX/Xvid, generally within an AVI container.

    What you use depends on the capabilities of your own DVD player, or alternatively, the DVD player(s) you will be using to play back this material. DVD-Spec authored MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 should play on all DVD players, so it might be a safe bet to aim for this until you can determine if your player supports these alternative formats.
