how do i extract audio from an avi file?
all i want is the audio and i would like to save it as .wav??????

One uses virtualdub, the other uses virtualdubmod.
You should also be able to do this using Goldwave.If in doubt, Google it. -
Yes, easiest way is to just load the AVI in Goldwave, then Save. Done.
