I have divx 3.11 installed and I was using virtual dub 1.4.9 to convert a dat (mpg) file to avi. It was successful, but at one point, the picture stops; the audio goes on though. My setting for video compression is Div-x Mpeg-4 Low Motion using a data rate of 450 kbits/second, a 100 setting on compression control and with a keyframe every 10 seconds. How can I prevent the video from freezing?

BTW: for people who normally convert mpgs to avi, may I know your procedures for converting (i.e. software used, video compression codex and settings, etc.).
