Has anyone tried using a Radeon 64DDR ViVo w/ MMC 7.1, etc., to capture an MPEG-2 real time and created a DVD? If you have, what tips can you suggest for those who haven't done it yet?!?!?
My situation is that I have a laserdisc player and about 20 movies that I really want to keep around. I was planning on making them into VCD's, but with the recent advent of DVD-R's and the pace at which I'm likely to finish it, I might as well capture for DVD's
Does anyone know if the MPEG-2 VBR captures produced by the Radeon are DVD compliant? If not, what does it take to make them so? Is it like the VCD captures in that all it takes is a demux/mux with TMPGEnc?
What's the appropriate MMC settings for DVD-compatible MPEG-2 files?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
