I'm frameserving from Virtaldub to Tmpgenc and my question is;
Is it possible to batch .avi's in Vdub for batch-encoding several .avi's with Tmpgenc when frameserving?
TIA

Yes. Open VirtualDub and start your frame server. I'm assuming you know how to do this already since your post made it sound like you know how to do one file at at time. If not, search the forums for Frameserving.
Open TMPGEnc, and load your VDR file into it. Then say File - Save Project. Do this for all your VDR files, saving each one as an individual project. Then say File - Batch Encode, add all your Project files into the list, and hit start. TMPGEnc will start encoding all the files for you... and even gives you a checkbox to shut down the computer when it's done. Ideal for letting the computer run overnight to encode all those AVI files, then shut itself down as to not wear down the computer when it's not being used.
Any other questions, feel free to ask. Good luck! -
Thank you very much! So simple I missed it just because of that ;) !
(My thoughtprocess got caught on the dialog-box you get just when you choose Start Frameserver (SERVER/AVI_File) that this could be a problem...)
Will try this tonight!
