Trust me, your firmware doesn't want to meet my firmware in a dark alley.

Umm serious, that is the same one. LD=Liggy & Dees, 3520, 1UC is the latest.

So basically, if your firmware meet his firmware in a dark alley his would win because his got the first punch in.

5x-8x on what size disc ? That is normal for most burners on a DL disc. Try one that you have burned and then report that speed. Burners will only rip at ~16x on a single layer disc.

That is why both myself and lenti_75 specifically say "rip" in our replies to you. That is the process of reading,or "Ripping", a DVD,not writing. You may need to read up on this to get a better grasp of the terms used.

Reading at 5x to 8x on a disc bought at Blockbuster is normal IF IT IS A DUAL LAYER DISC. It is NOT normal if it si a single layer disc and Blockbuster sells both, hence why i asked you if it was a single layer or dual layer disc which you still didn't answere but i'm guessing is dual layer.

Yeah, look in your my computer and see what size it says the disc in your burner is that you are trying to rip, like 6.7GB's or 3.8 GB's,etc.

    You have some options

    1) Shrink the DVD (Many many guides on the left with free tools)

    2) Split the DVD (again, many guides on the left)

    3) Rip it to your HD in ISO format from DVD DEcrypter (Mode>ISO>Read) then buy some Verbatim DL discs and burn it with DVD DEcrypter(Mode>ISO>Write)

Those are your 3 options you have.

    Good luck.
