    Sorry for my english...

I have an old VHS tape from 1990 or so (PAL) and i will play it on a PAL vcr.
The tape have small "bitemarks" or what they are called it looks like the sharp edge of a saw.
The sawmarks is on the down side.

I have tried the tape on 2 vcrs on the
Sharp VC-S2000 (thisone have some sheep TBC build in)
Sharp VC-A30 (old regular 90s vcr)

None of the vcr are able to play it but if i fast forward the tape while i look on it i can see the picture, but not hear the sound
In regular play mode the tape youst stop or get black image no sound her maby 1 sec then pause etc.

So is there any PAL vcrs that dont cost more than 430$? that are able to play the tape?
Or must i go to a special company to get it to work?
The movie its not that important, but i am buying a new vcr anyway.
Cus these old i have dont play old tapes good anyway (1980-1990 tapes).

The vcr marked in Sweden are almoust instinct, Swedish store cleks think they are so cool and hip and only sells the "new" dvd recorders for 500$ and if I ask them about VHS tape recorder they laugh and says yeh you can buy this "insert lowbudget model" for 71$ it have showview and have 2 scart outputs...

Are parts of the tape actually missing? If so, then toss it. If not, you can try to replace the plastic part, which sometimes works. (Take a newer VCR tape cassette, open it up and remove the tape. Repeat with yours and transfer your tape to the new cassette.) Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
