I am trying to play SVCD and/or VCD in my Panasonic DVD-A110 player. I checked the compatibility list and it looks like it should support both. I also read the comments people wrote for my player.
I am using Ulead's DVD MovieFactory to do the burn. I was wondering if anyone out there has successfully burned either successfully and played the resulting video in this player.
Any tips on how to ensure the burn process is performed correctly, please share. I have tried different methods and it still won't work. I always get the NO DISC message as soon as I insert the CD-R. I must be doing something wrong.
Thanks for your input.

Are you sure that your player supports CD-R/W media? This is a completely separate issue from S/VCD compatibility.
Why don't you try burning an audio CD on the same media to see if that will play on your DVD player...
If not, then you have a media compatibility issue. You will have to experiment with different brands of CD-R/W media to find one that works. Often CD-RW will work better in these cases.
