mpg files no sound in Phillips divx player

Guys, I have a couple of video clips that I imported from a DVD-r using ulead dvd movie factory 3 and burned them to Sony DVD+RW. When I loaded the disc in my Phillips divx player, the video clips that were imported from another dvd played, but without sound. I also, on the same disc, have some other video clips that are mpg, but they were not import from a dvd and they play with sound.

I compared a couple of the files in avicodec to see if there was something different in the audio.




Can you guys see any reason the clips that were imported using Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 have no sound when played in the Phillips Divx player?

If I have left out any vitale info. please let me know so that I may provide it.

Press the audio or language button a few times untill you hear the sound. It should bet at C1.

Thanx for your reply Actually, before I posted this problem here, I pressed the audio button a couple of times, but I wasn't quite sure what it was for or what it was suppossed to be set at. Thanks to your reply I do have sound now

Actually I have sound at C0. The only thing now is that when every I change clips, I would have to reset it back to C0.

Any tips on that?
