in dvd movies if i push the "next scene" button on my controler it skips ahead to the next scene. If i burn the vcd in sectons will i be able to do this? Also would this cause the play to skip in the spots where there is a track change?
thanks

If you use vcdeasy, you can set indexes whereever you want in the advanced section.. You would need to remember where the chapters are timewise...
The other method is to cut the mpeg in chapters exactly like on the dvd and then copying these to vcd.. That implicitly would create chapters... So you can navigate back and forwards with the next and previous chapter. One drawback of the last method is that reverse and forward fast play will stop and return to normal play at the beginning of each chapter.
If you copy the movie as one file to the vcd and use indexes as I said in the beginning you can still use next and previous chapter and also keep fast forwarding and reversing..
Good luck -
Take a look at:

Scroll down to "How to make VCD or SVCD with Menus, Chapters and Entrypoints"As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
