  1. I can pick this card up for $49 which seems like a good deal considering it is a stereo card. What I need to know is if this card is reccomended or not. I am looking to record television directly to vcd or even svcd. Am I correct in assuming that I can record directly to an mpeg file so that once I am done recording I can burn it on disk. I am running an athlon 700 512 megs of ram, ati xpert 2000, maxtor 40gb 7200 rpm drive for capturing and is on an fic sd-11 motherboard running windows XP professional. If any one can point out if this will do what I want or any problems I can expect I would greatly appreciate it. This is for the internal pci card by the way not USB

    Thanks in advance
