I am planning to install Thermaltake RAM heatsinks on my video card. The heatsinks come with adhesive pads. I would like to get my RAM modules as clean as possible before I stick on the heatsinks for better heat dissipation and hold. My video card has gotten very dusty over the months and I don't think canned air would be enough to get a satisfactory surface. I have read people using isopropyl alcohol to clean computer components. Is this safe. What would you guys use to clean RAM? Here is a picture of the exact kind of modules I have:

It dries up completely in a few seconds. Just use a "Q-Tip" or some fine cloth. Like a "Shammy" cloth
