I am doing analog captures to edit using Sony Movie Studio. My question is: what length should I choose to for my captures to make them easier to edit? (I understand there isn't a right/wrong answer here, I just want opinions.) In general, is it easier to work with 20 clips that are 2 minutes long or 2 clips that are 20 minutes long? I have already ruled out one clip that is 2 hours long!

Had to stop short of 3 hours because Premiere 6 has that limitation - no other reason.
I prefer to work with one "clip" then edit within premiere. Typical is a 2 hour Hi-8 tape.
Whatever works for you !
