I can't play certain SVCDs in my DVD player.
The ones that don't all have an extra folder named SEGMENT in them.
My question is: Can I recreate the SVCD w/o that folder? If so, what tools will I need?
Thanks

Copy the MPEG file back to your HD, then use VCDImager to make a bin/cue file image of the MPEG. Burn the bin/cue file. VCDImager is a comman line program popular GUIs include: VCDImager GUI, VCDEasy, and TSCV. VCDEasy and TSCV also come bundled w/ CDRDAO a freeware burning program (very nice). Plus have additional authoring features.
VCDImager GUI (in tools section)
VCDEasy (http://www.doom9.org)
TSCV (http://www.ttool.org and/or doom9 too).
