Heya,
I'm back!... Just doing a little experimentation... So I used OSEx to rip a DVD into an m2v and ac3 file. However, when I try to import the files into DVDSP I get this: PM error: Bad File Format. The ac3 imports just fine. So I've heard sometimes you have to import from the finder menu. I did that and got the same results. What could be wrong with the m2v file? I hear there is a way to trick DVDSP into accepting the file. What is the best way to take care of my problem?
Thanx,
Mullet

First, go back to OSEX, look at your title, and make sure there isn't a final chapter that is only about 15 seconds or so. If there is, try ripping the title without that last chapter (it's a script or something that botches up the way DVDSP looks at the video file).
If that's not the case, then run the file through PullDownX, disabling all the options including disable pulldown insertion -- and set the "DropFrame field for NTSC" option to true. See if that helps.
