    Hi all,
    a brand new area for me. I've used VOB2MPG to convert an IFO file into MPEG. When I try and import it into windows movie maker it just hangs. I've tried breaking down the mpeg file size but makes no difference.

    Can anyone offer some advice?

    Can you play the mpg in windows media player without problems?

    But windows movie maker is the worst editor for mpg/dvd video. Maybe try windows live movie maker.
