I love this program, but my trial has expired, and i wanted to make sure there arent any good free alternatives before i take the step to buy tmpgenc.![]()

Well if your only making VCD's then tmpgenc is still free for that part.
If you want freeware that encodes to Mpeg2 SVCD's:
bbmpeg is free
tmpgenc is worth the $ though. its a great encoder. -

Only "FREE" alternative I'm aware of ( that we are allowed to discuss on this forum anyway ;-P )
