Moving you to our computer section as this is not video related.

I hate all free file hostings sites....but I think mediafire is one of the best, like http://www.mediafire.com/?kmmmy2mm14r . I don't have to wait that long until I can download.

  3. Hotmail Skydrive allows 50MB files and you only have to log in once every 2 months to keep your files.
Another one is InfiniteMB, but each file must be downloaded at least once every 2 months, or you will lose the file. They allow 750MB files. No download limit. So far, people have downloaded 1200GB from me in the past 2 weeks. (See screenshot) Another one is Fileden, but they have been having some problems recently. A lot of people lost their files. Advantage of Fileden is that when you click on the link, you immediately get the download dialogue ( instead of an advertisement with a download button). Fileden has 50MB file limit and only 5GB can be downloaded per month. I exceeded 5GB with my videos. I expect to get 3000GB downloading in a month.

I just received this email from RapidShare :

we hereby inform you of a modification regarding the file inactivity regulations for Collector's accounts. The guaranteed storage time of a file after the last download (or after the upload, if a file has never been downloaded) will be lowered to 60 days on January 1st, 2010.
So I also may be looking elsewhere.

It seems to do the trick for me. You should probably verify to be sure, but I've gone well over 2 months without logging into SkyDrive, but I log into Hotmail regularly and all my files on SkyDrive are still there and accessible.

  9. sendspace.
    300mb per file max
you can create an account for free and upload with their own made upload tool: Sendspace wizard
Why do i say this? Because when you use their tool you can upload to a specific account and the files seem to stay up w/o having someone to download them in order to stay up.

  10. Logging into Hotmail at least once every 2 months should do the trick to keep all your files on SkyDrive. It is all part of the same package. (See screenshot). After many people lost their files on Fileden, it is good to think that Hotmail (SkyDrive) is not some basement operation. Especially in China, I like Microsoft, be it Hotmail, Windows or Office. The price is always right.

    yeah, lol

sorry my silly question, because when I did open the download link in another browser I did have access to my profile and some other personal info, and I wasn't logged on

I have some worries about Microsoft security, never used SkyDrive before

I don't know what is visible for public from my account

  14. Hotmail Skydrive is best for personal online storage, not the best for sharing because the receiver can see some personal information. That geekyness makes it poor for sharing files.
