  1. Can anyone else verify this ?. My burner died (after about 100 burns) so I sent it in. When it went in I could burn Accu media at 2x with firmware 1.0f.
When it got back from the service center they had loaded 2.0e into it and now I can only burn the same media at 1x.

Has anyone gone back from 2.0e to a previous version ?. I still have the 1.0f firmware, is there a place to get other versions and if so can anyone suggest a "preferred" version ?.

  5. Do you have a link to where I could get a RMA to send my Sony DRU500A back for replacement? It died after about 300 burns.

  6. I called Sony Support at 800-588-3847 to get the RMA and then they gave me an address in CA to send the drive in to.

The people at the service center are pretty nice and if you call them and be polite they helped get my drive back quicker.
