I have some avi and mpg files that when I try to open them in TMPEG, I get a message stating that the files are unsupported in TMPEG. Is there a way to convert them into another format and then open them in TMPEG without losing picture quality?
Any help will be appreciated!

Have you done some research?
www.dvdrhelp.com/tmpgenc#problems
and if it is mpeg2 be sure to install powerdvd or use this method
