    Hey everyone,

I have been using the MP4 PSP AVC option on Xvid4psp converter all the time, but just recently I started converting a couple animes and now they keep saying unsupported data on the psp, is there any reason why it is not supported now? but it was working before?

Did you update Xvid4PSP or manually alter any of the settings ?

Have you recently updated your PSP firmware ?

I am using the version 50374 full, and I did not alter any of the settings, I have not recently updated the firmware either, it is still at 5.03. It has worked on a bunch of animes but it just didn't work on the latest few I converted.

Use mediainfo to see the differences between files that do work and files that don't. That may tell you where things are going pear-shaped.

Ok here are the two files that I converted.

dog,%20bullets,%20&%20carnage%20-%2001.txt This is the one that works perfectly.

ouran%20high%20school%20host%20club%20-%2001.txt This is the one that doesn't work.

Using the same converter at the same settings.

The only differences are resolution and aspect ratio. As I don't have a PSP, I cannot say what effect these might have on the final outcome.

Looking at your log files i believe the cause is the Format Profile. The file that works for you is set to Main and the one that does not is set to High. Try formatting it again with the Format profile set to Main. The resolution should not be an issue. As i too convert a lot of anime for my psp and not all can use the full 480x272 native resolution.
