If I convert my files:
Audio Sample Rate: 48 kHz
Bit Rate: 192 kbps
Coding Mode: Stereo
Layer: II
123 MB
and
Video Resolution: 544x480
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Frame Rate: 29.97 fps
Bit Rate: 15,000,000 bps
1.07Gb
Files to Half D1, obviously (??) they'll look better, They don't look bad as VCD but the source looks better.
If I use the settings from DMF2 for 1/2 D1 (352 x 480 x 2400kps = 4 hours per dvd.
Will it be worth it $$, they are TV shows, The processing time will be longer.
Is there a better template for TmpGenc for 1/2 D1 ??
Should I roll my own, what bitrate etc...
Thanks in Advance
Roger Y

I would try the www.kvcd.net D1 templates. They really look good to me.
