First, I use DVD2SVCD with TMPGEnc as the converter.
My first question is, the whole process takes about 10 - 12 hours in regular. But half the time TMPGEnc is analyzing the movie. Does anyone know how to take away this option??
Second, I'm not satisfied with the subtitles I get on my movies. Does anyone know how to do so that the subs always get below the movie so to speak. I mean below the movie itself and down in the black border /field below??
Thanks

The 'Analysing' is the first part of a Multi-pass VBR encode.
To eliminate it you need to change to a Manual VBR or Constant Bit Rate encode.
