    I am trying to save my edited project back to dv tape in mycamcorder but cannot,Any ideas guys?

  2. Does your camcorder support DV IN ? Brand ? Model ? Not all camcorders can do that.

    EDFORDSHIRE IS IN MIDDLE ENGLAND,i HAVE A FIREWIRE CARD FOR USE WITH PINNACLE STUDIO THIS ENABLES ME TO DO ALL MY EDITING BUT AS SOON AS I TRY TO PUT IT ONTO TAPE IT DOESN;T HAPPEN!!!!

  8. What about this ?

    1. Switch to VCR
    2. Set input selector to LINE

    I am not sure if this is correct one, but I guess you need to play with camcorder setup little bit. Try to read manual (I didn't find exactly what you need but you might have more luck).

    1. Set power switch to VCR/VTR
    2. Press FN
    3. Select EDIT SET, then press EXEC
    4. Slect CONTROL, EXEC
    5. Select i.LINK, EXEC

  11. Well... than only suggestion that comes to my mind is to contact Sony support and ask them if your model can do that and if yes, how ?

    Does your camcorder have DV-In? A lot of models in Europe have the DV-in blocked. You can enable the dv-in, just search google "dv-in" + camera model...

    Ok, www.dv-in.france.com is the site where I got the codes to enable the dv-in on my sony trv6e.
    Hope you understand french...

    I've just found a place that makes gadgets to enable dv-in,Although a little expensive,i couldn't quite grasp the french page Although I may re-install the very good AIM translator(free-ZDnet)and make more sense of it!!,So thanks again......guys

    apparently DV-IN is disabled in a lot of Europe.
