    I tried encoding a DivxMPEG4v3 movie with TMPGenc and as far as I can tell the quality is excellent. Only thing is it is upside down and mirror-imaged. Anybody know how to solve this??

    I would try to load the video into Virtual Dub. If it runs perfectly there, frameserve it to TMPGEnc. If it has the same problem, use flip filters in Virtual Dub to orient it the way you want, then frameserve.
