    Hey Guys,

Finally got some Ritek's so now I am gonna begin copying all my Princo's to them, etc.

I had a quick question, is it possible to add a zip file of say all your cover jpg's and maybe text documents of movie info into the DVD's file structure ?

I'm burning the files / folders out in Prassi, so I'd add them following authoring/rendering of the TS dir's...

I have tried it in the root, that did not work at all. I was wondering, can you drop it in the AUDIO_TS folder since it's empty ? Can you add a folder in either of the TS directories that will not interfere ?

It'd be nice to add all the extras in for others if you copy the disc, then they can make labels, etc easily without having to re-hunt for the info, or in my case, due to Princo's issues, I wouldn't have to redo all teh labels...

Thanks Guys, for any and all help Hope all's well with everyone

    Spidey,

I wouldn't put your file in the root or even the TS directories. Just simply create another directory and pull all your guff in there. it'll be just fine.

What I usually do is create a file and stuff my original DivX films so in the event of a coasted DVD I can still play the film on a PC.

    Hi Ironballs,

Thank you very much for the info

So I can simply create another folder in the root of the disc ? I had done it before, but simply added a zip file in the root. It did not like this at all

Anyhow, so a discs root would look like

    :\AUDIO_TS\
    :\VIDEO_TS\
    :\JPG\ or \INFO\ or \SOURCE\

Something like that ? Should it be in CAPS ? I am only interested in getting into it on the pc's, so it's really just a storage type area.

Thanks again for all your help Bro !!!!!!

Spidey, your structure should be fine. I'm ceratin that compliant DVD should have the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS files in caps so I always use caps for other direcrories, hell how much effort is there in hitting the caps key!!!

BTW some sofware won't create the AUDIO_TS directory, even though there is nothing stored there, always create it for maximum compatability.

    Cheers Bud

    Ironballs,

Thank you again very much. I wasn't sure if the INFO dir being placed in the root, since alphabetically it falls in between the a/v ts dir's would cause an issue.

All sounds great and I'll give it a whirl right now. I am using Prassi Primo DVD to burmn, so adding the dir's is no problem at all.

Thanks again very much Bud !!!!!
