Hey all,
I had virtualdub working fine about a week ago, but since then i had to create a new user (with winXP) due to some problems. I am using virtualdub v1.4.13 and i want to capture to my D: drive. However it automatically sets it to my C: (even though virtual dub is on my D. When i manually change it to D by going File --> set capture file, it seems to set it to D:
I use the multisegmented capture, and it was working great before i made a new user. it records the entire movie, and every single avi works. I open it in virtualdub, and it automatically opens all avi's like its supposed to.
I cut the avi in half, using save as avi and such. But when i use tmpg to encode it, it seems it can only read the first segment of the avi file. THe avi the i cut, is perfect, but after tmpg passes that first 2gig avi segment, it goes all black, as if it cant read the others.
I dont understand why, it was working fine before i created a new user... what would that have to do with it? and how can i fix it so it works again?
