virtual dub problem

ok i use virtual dub every day and never have a problem,now for some reason when i try and open a video to make a wav file i get this problem,the error reads this====

"Couldnt locate decompressor for format mp43{microsofthigh speed-mpeg4-v3}
virtual dub requieresa video for windows(vfw)compatabile codec to decompress video direct show codec as those used by windows are not suitable"

so what does this mean and wht should i do to fix it?

Simple, get the MS-MPEG4 V3 decompressor. It's a codec, get it and install it and you won't have any more problems. 8)

thanks ,i just erased all my codec and reinstalled nemo and im back and running,thanks though
