  1. Being a bit new to all this ,I know it might be very basic , but if you don't know you don't know.
Just split thirteen ghosts in v. dub and just successfully encoded 1st part in tmpg.
How do I transfer to nero to start burning?

  2. Start eg NERO and use the (S) VCD template and burn the mpg file. That's all.

Dont use Nero to author (S)VCD (I've lost count on how many times I've written this...). Use VCDEasy, and if VCDEasy has problems with your burner/system, just create the (S)VCD image (by unchecking the "Burn" checkbox) and use Nero to burn the image. (File ->Burn image)

    Nickbfc,
How did you encode the files in Tmpg? Did you encode them for VCD, Svcd, DVD, or some other settings. This will determine how you will use Nero. If you used the VCD template in TMpg then Nero will accept it as standard VCD and will burn without trying to re-encode the file. If you encoded in SVCD then use the SVCD option in Nero to burn your CD. DO NOT use Nero to encode your avi, non-standard VCD, or other formats over to VCD standard, Nero does not do a very good job converting the different file formats to VCD. Nero is very good for writting to CDs and DVDs. Just keep up with the updates.

  6. Do not use the header trick, encode as SVCD and burn as VCD using NERO and swith OFF the 'VCD compliancy' flag. Thsi should work, it does for me.
