    I have a subtitle in the format MicroDVD.. and a divx movie.. how to add the subtitle to the movie?? I've tried with some programs but can't get it to work.. please someone help me.

    It's mostly easier not to add the subs to the avi - just let your player take care of overlaying the subs (and keep them in a separate file). ZoomPlayer has this feature built in. If you want permanent subs, you have to reencode with the help of VirtualDub, and the subtitler filter (after appropriate sub conversion).
