Sound sync problems in version 1.4.0a of dvd2dvdr

Has anyone successfully authored an NTSC movie in 1.4.0a or 1.4.0? It seems that alot of people have had great success w/ version 1.3.5 but after that, its a crapp shoot. So if anyone has successfully gotten their sound to sync, please let me know if you changed anything or how I could fix my problem. I am using DVD2DVDR 1.4.0a and CCE 2.66. Thanks to everyone who replies!!!

There has been limited success using 1.4.0. Check out the following thread. We may have found the right parameter mix to get it done, but we need more help testing.

acually i saw that after I posted this thead, I have it encoding right now... should be done in about 4 hours or so... I'll post my results here when I get them done.

well the encode of Saving Privae Ryan finished..... the video looks great but sound is still off BUT by not as much..... now i'm off to try w/ some different settings. Wish me luck!

Any updates? What parameters have you tried. I am eager to hear your feedback.

Also have you tried version 1.4.2 yet ? I won't get home until Thursday night so I want to learn from your lessons.

Sorry that's its taken me so long to reply but I've been busy w/ work myself. I still haven't gotten the NTSC prolbem worked out. I have all the settings that i've tried at home. I'll pick them up on my lunch break and post them later tonight. Good Luck.
