  1. My Pioneer seems to extract at a max of 2.1x, using either Windows Explorer to copy files off of a dvdr, or DVD decryptor, using either file
or image method. It is supposed to read at 16x. Is there a way to make the drive work the way it is advertised?

  2. Read is different from ripping... and the A05 is lock at 2x and you can't unlock it... Most people buy a DVD-ROM for ripping purposes. I recommend the Pioneer S106 which it's a Slot Load DVD-ROM.

  4. You should read the readme.txt file or help file that comes with it. But I'm pretty sure it'll be a new list of media compability and stuff like that.

  5. Thanks, unfortunately the read me file gives instructions on how to install it, not what it does. I guess I'll wait a while and see others experience.
    Thanks for your help.
