I've grazed this Forum and the web for an solution to convert an ac3 in a mp2-multichannelfile.
There are some tips, but mostly you have to convert it with LINUX (http://www.stud.uni-siegen.de/sven.koelsch/mpeg2mc/ --> musicin)
or WINDOWS (see http://hypercubemx.free.fr).
I`ve also tried to compile musicin on OS X, but it produces an error, if I type "make"...
Has anybody already produced a working 5.1 (multichannel) SVCD?
I have tool (a52decX 0.24), which can make a conversion to dolby-aiff or dolby-wave or even can split up the 6 diffferent channels.
But I haven't found yet a tool, which will convert these files to a multichannel mp2-file.
MissingMPEGTools or ffmpeg converts it to stereo again, so that can't be a solution...
Anybody can give me some hints?[/url]
