I have a Sony DVP-NC655P DVD player and it has played everything I have thrown at it. I recently burned a multi episode dvd by make every episode a different chapter. The problem is when I go to play the dvd on the player it just skips from each chapter (like when i push play on the dvd player it says "Chap :1" and it just like counts up to 8 and then starts back at one w/o showing any video). It worked fine on my JVC-XV501B but can anybody please help me?

I went over and took a look at the link.
There is a lot of things it could be. The Sony unit we have is very DVD compliant and if something is wrong in the ifos or bups the unit will not play the video or audio correctly.
Is the player set to ab repeat or shuffle?
Have you tried using the "Chapter Picture" Navigation Mode? If so can you select a picture and play that chapter or episode?
Turn off disc memory and turn it back on "resume play".
Turn the unit off and turn it back on.
If none of that works then the problem is in the ifo files.
Are there chapter points in the individual episodes and/or are there multiple titles on the original DVD?
When you created new ifos did you select what was shown in the link?
