  2. well is the movie avi mpeg etc? how big is the file size? is your audio 41000 or 48000 kps? stuff like this you need to put in so people can answer your question.

  3. Choose the appropriate bitrate so the movie will fit. Either use a bitrate calculator, or if you are using TMPGEnc to encode (I am assuming we are talking about an mpeg2 movie to be played on a standalone DVD player) if you use the wizard it has a built in bitrate calculator which chooses the bitrate for you so that the movie fills 100% of the disc. I would then lower it a bit so that it is only about 90-95%. Choose an authoring program that can use mpeg audio as some cant and will reencode the audio to PCM, this will increase the filesize and it will no longer fit on a DVD-R
