I really need help.. on vcd to dvd-r...

It always freezes on me.. no matter what.. its been two weeks , Ive spend hours every day trying to convert mpg to dvd-r with ulead movie factory 2.. my trail is almost running out.. can ANYONE TELL ME WHY IT FREEZE ON ME.. PLEASE I tried leaving it on overnight.. and it still freezes.. I read every instruction carefully it still freezes ANY ONE PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP..

I don't use Ulead so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Question - are you trying to burn a DVD from a MPEG or convert a VCD to DVDR.

Is your audio 48khz?

Are you using a DVD standard resolution: 720x480, 352x480 or 352x240?

yes im trying to get mpeg to dvd-r..
and on the guide it says Ulead helps you convert the audio to 48khz
as for resoulutions..
Ive tried all of them
720x480, 352x480 or 352x240
High
Med
Low
CIF
and the other one...

can you please help me do it another way? or what is my problem? I don't get why it freezes..

Your video is CIF resolution. You can try the do not convert compliant video box.

What's your source? DivX, captured video, DVD rip?

I'm not sure what the problem is. You say you want to convert MPEG to DVDR. So it's arealy encoded. What's format/properties of that MPEG (MPEG1 or MPEG2, resolution, bitrate, and adio frequency)?

well some is pure VCD format..
some are divx converted to VCD format
and in properties it doesn't tell me..
sometimes when i convert really small mpgs to TS_VIDEO on Ulead it works.. then rest of the times if its bigger it freezes..
