HI, I am trying to set the settings for PAL DVD and I choose:

START PROJECT-DVD, then bottom left-SETTINGS, choose PAL, then DISC TEMPLATE and choose 6000 bit rate but where is OK for confim-I choose 6000 bit rate butall button I see is NEW, EDIT, DELETE, CLOSE- how to choose 6000 bit rate (or other) and PAL or NTSC settings

You are selecting the template manager, what you need to do is select the 'Project Settings'.

After you have selected START PROJECT-DVD hit the 'next' button and go to the second screen (the capture screen) - now select the 'Project Settings' icon at the bottom of the screen (the blue tick) and then select the 'Change MPEG Settings' button. Here you can select the 6000bps option and the OK button.
