I am trying to write VCDs to a dvd using moviefactory 2, according to the guide it should not need to convert the video if it is in vcd format, yet no matter what settings I use it allways converts the video. I check it is correct i.e PAl/NTSC and they are all files converted to VCD using TMPGenc. Any help Appreciated

you may actually not be re-encoding the video, just the audio if your clips are VCD. you must have 48000hz audio and VCD audio is 44000hz. You also need to create a new disc template for doing this. It's simple and easy....the pop-up box in the lower left corner of MF 2's screen. You also must check the box that says : "do not convert compliant mpg"
