I've downloaded every tool referenced on this site but I'm having severe issues with some of these AVI files. Not only do I have to splice the files into 2-3 parts to fit them onto an SVCD, but I can't even open them in an AVI splicer b/c of their format. Has anyone else encountered this issue? One of the error messages I encountered said something about a Microsoft patent. They all play in certain players (Kazaa, Windvd, Windows Media player), but none of the tools open them...
