How do you get a 640 x 352 to be 480 x 480 for SVCD formatbut maintain the same aspect ratio under Mainconcept. I can get full screen with no problem.
Under TMPGENC you have mutiple ways of changing the aspect ratio. one is called "full screen keep aspect ratio" That creates them black bars on top and bottom so you get the widescreen look.
Cannot create widescreen look under MainConcept. Mainconcept codes 3 times faster is 2 times better image quality without the hassles under TMPGENC.(no need to do virtual dub, framerserver, create a wav file...ect)

MC doesn't have built-in resize filters. If you want to resize and keep aspect ratio, you have to use frame-servers. I use Avisynth to do all the filtering, then use Link2 to wrap AVS script, because MC doesn't read AVS file directly.
